matcha cream


In response to my previous post on the TKO’s and my homemade matcha (green tea) cream filling, I’ve had a couple requests for the recipe. It’s very simple.

Matcha Cream Filling:
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 oz. white chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 tsp matcha powder

1. For the Filling: In a small pan, bring the cream to a boil. Remove from heat and add the chocolate. Let stand for 1 minute, then whisk to melt the chocolate until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl, and let stand for 6 hours to thicken up.

2. Stir in the matcha powder under there are no more streaks, and everything is well blended.

  1. Yes < HREF="" REL="nofollow">matcha<> is great. Wouldnt it be better to mix in the matcha with the cream at its boiling so that it would somewhat brew the matcha at the same time?
